I need help with a crochet pattern?

I’ve started a crochet pattern and I’ve gotten stuck with the abbreviations. What does hdc in last 3 dc- 39 ch-2 sps. What does this mean in regular old English?

hdc in last 3 dc = make 1 half double crochet stitch in each of the last 3 double crochet stitches
39 ch-2 sps = you should now have 39 chain-2 spaces made
