Can someone translate this: (1 sc, ch2, 1sc) in next ch-2 sp, ?

I’m trying to make my first afghan using a crochet pattern (a zig-zag type pattern) I’ve made the first row and am in partially into the second row. I’m not sure what this next instruction means.
