Is knitting a blanket hard?
I’ve always been very crafty. I’ve been able to make different kinds of twisted bracelets on wheels and stuff and I love knitting my family members hats and scarves and once I even knit my boyfriend a stocking for christmas but I do all my knitting on a loom which is way easier than real knitting. I, however, have knit two scarves before with the knitting stick things before (sorry I’m not sure what those little tools are called) but I was only 13 and now I’m 18 so that was a very long time ago and I don’t remember how. I want to knit a baby blanket for my sisters baby because she is pregnant. I know I can look up vids on youtube but I’d just like someone to tell me if it’s hard and what all I need. How much yard should I buy? and any tips on how to do it would be great.
It’s not hard as long as you don’t choose a complex pattern. Stick with something that is rated “Beginner” and you will be fine. The pattern will tell you all the supplies you need including which type of yarn and how much.
